So, UFC 83 took place on Saturday in Montreal and Georges St. Pierre regained his welterweight title by dominating Matt Serra. Like I said last week, I wanted Serra to lose because there were rumors he would fight Matt Hughes next. The rumors are confirmed on Matt’s Blog:
“The UFC said that if Serra loses I get him, but I don’t know when that will be. I’m going to guess six to eight months, so I’ve found myself watching my diet and exercising more.”
We may have to wait a bit, but, we should definitely see it! Go get ‘em Matt!
